NGM pro: the Next-Generation Metabolomics
The next-generation metabolomics NGM addresses the issues of inaccurate substance identification and limited identification quantity in metabolomics. It is one of the core research methods in metabolomics, efficiently completing the qualitative detection of metabolites in samples. Specifically, it uses Liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer (LC-MS) to dynamically track the changes of most small molecule metabolites in the organism before and after external stimuli. The focus is on identifying metabolites that show significant changes in experimental and control groups, and subsequently studying the correlation between these metabolites and physiological/pathological changes. The research objects are mostly small molecules with a molecular weight of less than 1500 Da.

Technical Advantages:

  • Doubled accuracy in metabolite identification, up to 98% (Level 1).
  • Nearly a tenfold increase in accurately identified metabolite quantity, reaching over 800 Level 1 metabolites.
  • Reliable identification of a total of 2000+ metabolites.

Application Areas:

  • Clinical diseases: Biomarker discovery, monitoring treatment effectiveness, disease classification.
  • Food: Food nutrition, clinical nutrition.
  • Livestock: Scientific breeding, disease prevention and control, developmental research.
  • Pharmaceuticals: Drug development, assessment of toxic side effects.
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine: Treatment mechanisms, target analysis.
  • Environmental Toxicology: Exposure omics.
